First Line Fridays - Dual Power of Convenience

July 31, 2020

Happy Friday Reader Friends!!

I don't know about you but although the week to me went super fast I am glad its Friday and the start of the weekend. Granted I have no big plans but it will be great to just be a little lazy this weekend and read just a little bit more! Who is with me? 😊
It's another First Line Friday hosted by Hoarding Books today my first line is coming from Dual Power of Convenience by Chautona Havig. I just started this one last night so a review will be coming soon!

My First Line:

"This isn't what I had in mind when I decided to
 open a mobile bookstore!"

Now it's your turn! Grab the book closest to you and
post the first line in the comments.

  1. Happy Friday!

Wow that's an awesome first line!

On my blog this week, I'm sharing the first line from An Appalachian Summer by Ann H Gabhart:

    May 20th, 1933

"Piper Danson's cheeks hurt from smiling for what seemed like hours with no relief in sight."

I hope you have a wonderful weekend :)

  3. My first line is from Acceptable Risk by Lynette Eason

    Chapter 2
    September. Helmed Province, Afghanistan

Sarah Denning sat on the dirt floor of the Afghani prison cell and shivered in the hinety-degree heat, fighting the fear that had been her constant companion since the Taliban had attacked the school yesterday.
