Meet Me!

Jesus Lover. Wife. Homeschool Mama.
Book Reviewer. Fueled by Coffee. Avid Reader
Welcome to my little corner of the blogging world...

A Little Bit More About Me...
My name is Kelly-Ann and I am wife to an amazing hubby who supports all my crazy ventures. I'm a former public school teacher now homeschooling mom of four kiddos. We have been homeschooling for 9 years since the very beginning of our kids education and I would not have it any other way.

I am an introvert with an extrovert mind, meaning I am not great in large crowds or the unknown especially when it comes to functions or activities but I do love to plan things that require me to step out of my comfort zone (and I do them because I know its not only good for me but for my kids as well).

I love to travel and explore new places. I love the Kansas City Chiefs, Kansas City Royals baseball, photography, COFFEE and of course lots of BOOKS!

Why Musings?

Musings means a period of reflection or thought and that's exactly what will happen around here. Whether it be books or life!

What can you expect here?
Reviews that are honest and from the heart. I would never lead you astray but remember these are just my thoughts. You should always read the book and form your own opinions!

💗I thoroughly enjoy when I am able to introduce you to a new book or author that may possibly become your favorite!

What kind of books do you review?
My passion and what I tend to lean on is Christian Fiction but I also read clean/wholesome fiction. I'm just not into overly descriptive romances or books full of fowl language. I do enjoy suspenseful books!! I don't delve much into fantasy but I do love me some Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings and I have read others but they are not the first ones I pick up!

Where else to look for me?
I hope you enjoy being around here and find it comfortable enough to stay a while. Think of it as being in my living room, browsing through my book shelf with a mug filled with yummy coffee while children run around. So make yourselves at home and if you want to hang out with me some more... here is where you can find me!

  2. Dear Kelly-Ann, I so appreciate you reading my book and giving it a heart-felt review. Yes, I agree that the subject content is challenging and different than a normal romance, but the God in me takes my stories places I don't even know He will take them. I pray each day before I sit down to write and then I let the story unfold and the Spirit lead. When you said it may make a person remember to pray for those who have lived in abuse, now that was the icing on top the cake. That is why I write. Thank you from my heart for your wonderful review. Hugs, Blossom
