First Line Friday ~ DawnSinger Tales of Faeraven

May 15, 2020

Happy Friday Friends!
It's another First Line Friday hosted by Hoarding Books. This week I m reading and reviewing Janalyn Voigt's Dawnsinger definitely not a book I would normally pick up but surprisingly I'm liking it so far.

My First Line:

A crosswind caught Kai's wingabeast as lightning flared too near.

Your turn! What is your first line? Grab the book closest to you and post the first line in the comments!

  2. Happy Saturday!

I've never heard of this one before, I but love that cover, and I think it has an awesome opening line!

I'm sharing from Mandi Blake's What If I Loved You:

"Liz stared at a loose thread on the arm of Mr. Garrison's couch as the tears dried on her face."

I hope you have a lovely rest of your weekend :)

  3. My first lines are from The Lost Lieutenant by Erica Vetsch:

Seaton Estate Berkshire, England January 4, 1813

“You’ll do as you’re told if you know what’s good for you. I won’t be humiliated again.”

    Just finished this phenomenal book!

  4. Intriguing. What is a wingabeast? Just another word for a dragon, or some kind of hybrid animal??
