Top Six Things I Would Need for my Jane Austen Tea Party!

May 5, 2020

Hello Friends!!! It's another edition of Top Ten Tuesday hosted by the Artsy Reader. Today's prompt is Top Ten Items to Have at a Bookish Party. So I immediately thought... I need a Jane Austen tea party in my life!! So instead of Top Ten Tuesday its Top Six Tuesday!

The Invitation
How beautiful is this invitation? I found it while browsing Pinterest!

The Venue

A lovely garden will be the perfect place for this Jane Austen Inspired tea party!

A Tea Set of Course!
A tea set is a definite must when not only having a tea party but to have a Jane Austen themed party is an absolute must!

Although there will be plenty of foods I couldn't resist this pic of the cookies! They are simply adorable!

It is strongly recommended that all guests wear appropriate period clothing!!
 (How fun would that be?!)

Party Favors
No one leaves the party empty handed! Of course everyone gets a party favor with one of my favorite Jane Austen characters ever!!! Mr. Darcy! 💗

Who wants to come to my party? What kind of bookish party would you have? Let me know in the comments!!

    1. Thank you for stopping by! I know the cookies look amazing :) I love your list as well! I agree a bookish party app would be super helpful!

  4. That's a gorgeous invitation! I absolutely LOVE the fancy tea sets and china (even though goodness knows I never have an occasion to use any of it). And wearing period attire would be half the fun! Sounds like this would be a great party.

    Here's my TTT post.

    1. Thank you so much for stopping by! I know I love the fancy tea sets and china but other than props for bookstagram I very rarely use them. I love your take on the bookish party! Sounds like you would have some great guests!
