First Line Friday ~ Present Danger

April 23, 2021

Happy Friday!!

Goodness it has been a few weeks since I have done First Line Friday and I have missed it! Life has been so busy though. The kids all started baseball, even the little firecracker (who wanted to do dance and changed her mind when she saw her brother play!) so now our week days and weekends are super busy. Anyways, its another First Line Friday hosted by Hoarding Books and my line is coming from Present Danger by Elizabeth Goddard.

Your turn! Grab the book closest to you and post the first line in the comments!

  1. Happy Saturday!
I'm sharing the first line from My Dear Miss Dupre by Grace Hitchcock: https://christianfictiongirl.blog/2021/04/23/first-line-friday-181/. I'm currently on chapter 6 so I'll share a line from there.
"He tucked a curl behind her ear and stepped off the curb to cross the street."
Hope you have a great weekend. Happy reading! 😀❤📚

  2. My first line is from “Hattie: A Heart that Listens and Eyes the Speak” by Jean L. Kuhnke:

“Hattie was a mess with mud up to her elbows.”

  3. This looks like a good one! Over on my blog I shared the first line from Bookshop by the Sea by Denise Hunter. I just finished Aftermath by Terri Blackstock, so I’ll share the first line here: “ Taylor Reid’s phone flashed as she snapped the selfie with her two friends, their heads touching and their backs to the stage.”

    1. LOL this was the pilot and he was delivering something that is vital to the story! If I tell you I would ruin it!
