ABOUT THE BOOK

Author: Sybrina Durant
Genre: Children's Activity Book
Publisher: Independent
Release Date: September 25, 2020

Cleo loves bows. She wears her hair in a bow and decorates her room with bows. Cleo is bow crazy.
Learning to tie a bow is very difficult for some people but Cleo remembers how to do it from a cute story she once heard. It is about a little rabbit with very long ears and a very helpful fox who shows her what to do to keep them clean. This is the story of how Cleo learns to tie a “bunny ear” bow.
Exercises in manual dexterity build self-esteem in children. Knowing how to tie shoe-strings, scarves and more into a bow is a useful and rewarding skill.
“Teach a child a useful skill. Build confidence and self-esteem that lasts a lifetime.”

MY THOUGHTS

This book was super cute! I don't know about you but one of the toughest things to teach a kid is how to tie their shoes. The way you were taught may not work for the way your kids learn. I know that has been my experience with my own children. They also don't learn the same way. My younger kiddos enjoyed this book a lot. They thought the fox was a bit scary in its drawing but then they realized the fox was just trying to help. We are still working on our shoe tying skills but this book is definitely a good starter to get them motivated.

If you need a book to help your kiddo tie their shoes then I definitely recommend you grab this one. Not only would it be good for personal home use but I can see a teacher also reading this for their preschool/kindergarten class and motivating kids to learn how to do this skill.

My Rating: 4 Stars/ Great tool to learn something new. My kids enjoyed the story!

I received a copy of this book through Just Read. I was not required to post a positive review. All views expressed are only my honest opinion.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR

I am the author of many different types of books. Some are technical and others are fanciful. Illustrated books are my favorite. I believe that you can capture a reader’s attention with a good story but amazing artwork will reel them in and keep them riveted.

I've got a new Rabbit and Fox story. This one is Cleo Can Tie A Bow! Make sure to put it on your bookshelf so that you you'll have it handy when you know someone who wants to learn to tie a bow.

Journey To Osm - The Blue Unicorn's Tale is my first full-length novel. Please look for it on these Goodreads Listopia lists and give it a vote up on a few of them. https://www.goodreads.com/list/book/4...

Please look for "The Blue Unicorn's Journey To Osm Illustrated Book For Teens and Older Readers" on this Goodreads Listopia. https://www.goodreads.com/list/show/9... A vote from you would be fantastic.

I've also written a companion book for little children called "Unicorns From Unimaise - The Magical Metal-Horn Tribe."

I also believe if you teach a child with a story and pictures, they will remember it forever. With that in mind, I wrote the "Learn To Tie A Tie With The Rabbit and The Fox" series of instructional books for boys and girls.

You can also vote for it on the best book for children to learn how to tie, here:

I am also the publisher of the 4 volume set - Sybrina's Phrase Thesaurus. Check out all of these books and if you like them, please recommend them to other Good Reads members.
