Top Ten Tuesday ~ Non-Bookish Hobbies

November 3, 2020

Happy Tuesday!!

I hope everyone had a great day! It's another Top Ten Tuesday hosted by the Artsy Girl. Today's prompt is Non-Bookish Hobbies. Not sure if I can come up with 10 of them but let's see...

1. Upcycling Furniture - I enjoy refurbishing furniture that I get at thrift stores or yard sales.

2. Baking with my kiddos! - I am not a pro baker by any means but I do enjoy getting my kids in the kitchen with me and making something yummy!

3. Making wreaths or decorations - I don't get to do it often but I do enjoy taking my Silhoutte Cameo Machine out and playing with it to make signs, bookmarks or anything that needs a stencil.

4. Binging on British TV - I am obsessed with British TV so Acorn TV and Britbox are my go-to for binging. At the moment I only have AcornTV but hoping to get Britbox during Christmas.

5. Journaling on my Happy Planner - I don't use my Happy Planner for a planner but rather to journal and write my Bible Verses in but I still enjoy decorating it with stickers.

6. Blogging - Of course blogging about bookish things but also its nice to have an outlet to write about anything and everything you want.

7. Thrifting - I thoroughly enjoy going into thrift shops and getting a deal on clothes or housewares.

8. Exploring/Traveling - I do enjoy exploring the city we live in and although we don't get to do it too often we enjoy traveling when we can!

Well there you have it! I didn't make it quite to 10... so close though. I  just couldn't think of anything else that I would consider an actual hobby!

Do you have any non-bookish hobbies? Let me know in the comments!

  1. Pretty blog, and great list! I'm not a pro-baker either, but I enjoy trying new recipes every now and then. I also LOVE journaling. :)

  4. #1 - I love seeing people do that though I've yet to try upcycling any furniture.

#4 - I used to watch a lot of British period dramas but now I like the crime dramas more though I don't watch a lot of tv these days.

#5 - I've always wanted do some type of journaling but I still haven't gotten around to that.

#6 - this is on everyone's list considering we're reading this post

#7 - Thrifting sounds so much nicer than being frugal, I guess that means I don't thrift

Good hobbies and they seems like they take a lot of time so having 8 hobbies is great.

    Have a lovely week.
