MY THOUGHTS

I have not delved too much into Biblical Fiction and I am not sure why because it is one of those types of genres that really makes you think and delve into the Bible. I know some people don't because a good chunk of it is fiction but I think its amazing when an author can take a real person from the Bible that we may not know so much about like Miriam for example and bring them to life. In this book we follow Miriam, Moses' sister and it was quite the journey to put myself in her shoes and see Moses and Egypt through her eyes. It definitely had me going back to Exodus and reading the story of Moses again.

Ms. Smith definitely has taken her time to research this Biblical story and how can you not, to tackle a character that we do not know much about. But kudos to her for doing so and writing such a great, vivid story.

My Rating: 4 Stars/ Really enjoyed this book.

I received this book from the publisher. I was not required to post a positive review. All views expressed are only my honest opinion.
