First Line Friday ~ The Hesitant Heiress

January 29, 2021

Happy Friday Friends!!

I am so glad it is Friday. This week has felt super long it didn't help that I had some kiddos with head colds so that made everything go to a standstill and go super slow. Not that I want things to go super fast either but still the week dragged on! But yay for another First Line Friday hosted by Hoarding Books. My first line today comes from my current read The Hesitant Heiress by Dawn Crandall.

It's your turn!! Grab the book closest to you and drop the first line in the comments!

  2. Love, love, love that cover! And thanks for stopping by my FLF today, too.

From The Story Peddler by Lindsay A. Franklin: "Colored ribbons of light poured from my fingers."

  5. I need to go back and read Dawn Crandall!

My first line is from The Vanishing at Loxby Manor by Abigail Wilson:
I knew something was terribly wrong the moment I stepped foot back inside Loxby Manor- the pervasive restlessness of the servants, the strained silence of the front room.
