My Thoughts
I am so excited about this book! I am a HUGE Laura Ingalls and Little House fan both of the books and show and I have passed the love on to my kiddos. When I found out about this book I knew I needed to look at it and get it on my hands. I honestly wasn't expecting what I received! It truly is so much more than just a chapter-by-chapter guide. It has photographs of certain places that Laura Ingalls mentions in the book which my kids love to browse. The hands on activities are awesome! We just finished the first book in the series and we made butter and this weekend we are making vinegar pie just like Ma did in the story! The comprehension questions at the end of the unit where great conversations starters! I chose to do the questions at the very end of the book but you can definitely do them after every chapter.  I wish we had this companion when we read Farmer Boy last school semester. (Mind you we are definitely going back and doing some of the activities!!)

This truly has made our study of the books so much more enjoyable. If you are lover of Laura Ingalls and the books, homeschool parent looking to do a unit study on all the books I definitely recommend you grab this! You won't regret it!!

My Rating: 5 Stars/ We are loving it!!
