This was such a good story! Written in lyrical rhyme this made the perfect read aloud for my younger ones. They really enjoyed meeting Bryson and watching him be brave and and overcoming his fears. My middle schooler enjoyed the illustrations with are gorgeous!!
This would be perfect for pre-schooler and early elementary. The theme of this picture book are the character traits of bravery, courage, perseverance and trust. This would make a great addition to your home library and would also make a great gift!

We all know kids especially on those tween years have big emotions and most of the times they have a hard time managing and coping with them. This devotional book focuses on just that.
This book is geared to ages 8-12.
I really liked that it included stories of real life struggles that are relatable to kids.
It provides journaling opportunities for those kiddos that like to write things down. Includes prayers for each day and provides life changing mental health strategies combined with biblical principles.
This would definitely make a great gift for a young person in your life!

I’ll be honest I’m not a huge fan of the Jesus Storybook Bible but this book was cute. It is very loosely based on Psalm 92. Very easy wording for pre-schoolers and the illustrations are beautiful and eye catching. This would be perfect for kiddos 2-4 years old.

About the Book
Sad is a feeling that can be hard, but if we listen to it, we can learn things about ourselves. In God, I Feel Sad, kids discover that it’s okay to be sad and that God is in all things, including sadness. With simple, accessible text, sad becomes an emotion that kids don’t need to avoid and instead something they can use to grow closer to God. The bright, emotive art by Nomar Perez will draw kids in, and a note in the back provides tips and techniques parents and caregivers can use to help young children process their feelings in a beneficial way.
God, I Feel Sad teaches kids ages 4 to 8 how to:
Identify the feeling of sadness
See signs of sadness in others
Recognize things that can make them feel sad
Embrace sadness without letting it overwhelm them
Talk to God about their feelings
My Thoughts
I definitely recommend this one if you are a parent of younger kiddos or a teacher that allows Christian books in the classroom.
