Monday Musings ~ Bookshelves

June 29, 2020

Hello Friends!! Happy Monday!!

It has been a very busy day today and my brain is somewhat mush but I wanted to hop in on the Book Blogger Hop since I was so busy with reviews last week I wasn't able to do it! The Book Blogger Hop was originally created by Jennifer @Crazy-For-Books in March 2010 and ended on December 31, 2012. With Jennifer's permission, Billy @ Ramblings of a Coffee Addicted Writer re-launched the hop on February 15th, 2013. Each week the hop will start on a Friday and end the following Thursday. There is a weekly prompt featuring book related questions.

This week's question is:

When you run out of bookshelf space what do you do?

Hmm... interesting since I am running into this problem at the moment... lol! When we moved a year ago to our current house I purged A LOT of books and I told myself that I would not put anything in my bookshelves unless I knew I would read it again, it was a classic, a series that I must have or lend to someone. So I have kept pretty close to this, although its very hard because I LOVE books! I do need to get another bookshelf for my downstairs "library" area. SO when I go to my favorite bookstore and I get new books I tend to lend them out to my mother-in-love after I read them and when she is done if its not a book that I want to keep I resell them and keep stocking up on my TBR pile (which has its separate section on my shelves!) If its a book a fall in love with it goes on the shelf!

  1. That's a great system, though I'd probably want to keep too many still 😂
